Our History
Two additional courses were created to help strengthen soft skills and prepare those who are ready for more responsibility: Soft Skills and Customer Service, and First Time Manager. Moses formalized the same soft skills and customer service training he created for college students to create the Soft Skills and Customer Service Course. The Strong Management and Effective Leadership course was created after Moses noticed fundamental managerial and leadership skills missing in many managers at organizations across the country. All three courses offered at FirstJobPrep.com were designed to help teens and young adults succeed in today’s workplace.
As we move into the future, First Job Prep’s strategic plan includes establishing First Job Prep Trainers across the country.
First Job Prep started in 2020 when founder, Moses Delaney, trained one of his three daughters how to secure her first job. Her dream job was to work at a popular shoe store in Atlanta, GA. Moses wrote multiple scripts, role played each one with his daughter, and success followed. Since then, Moses has trained many teens and young adults on how they too can secure their first job. Today, Moses has decided to share this effective training program with the world through the First Job Prep online course.
